Independent creative agency headmark took home the hotly-contested Marketing category at the 2018 Sydney Young Entrepreneur Awards this week.
In their inaugural year and founded by Business News Australia, these awards recognise the finest entrepreneurs from around the county who are still under 40.
headmark’s win in the Sydney marketing category was awarded to founders Sharne and Nigel Patient. It followed a rigorous process involving interviews, a review of processes, insights into successful projects and a proof of profitability.
The awards program not only recognises excellence – it provides a sounding board, expert advice and a platform for young guns to share experiences.
“We love bringing brands to life and this award is a fantastic acknowledgement of the effort that goes in across the board.”
The judges were impressed by headmark’s ability to navigate a rapidly shifting digital and marketing landscape, as well as the equal attention the agency gives to both large and small brands.
Other winning factors included headmark’s commitment to supporting and training their team, plus strong industry partnerships with powerhouses such as Google.
“It’s wonderful being recognised for our achievements, but that recognition is really for the whole team,” said headmark CEO, Sharne Patient.
“Also for our clients, who engage fully with in the transformation process. We love bringing brands to life and this award is a fantastic acknowledgement of the effort that goes in across the board.”
