Sharne Patient

CO FOUNDER | MANAGING DIRECTOR

Inspired by family. In love with ideas

Sharne co-founded headmark in February 2006. She first earned her stripes at a Boston-based Advertising Agency, where she worked with some of America’s most renowned brands including Subway, Midas and PepsiCo for over four years. Upon returning to Australia, Sharne spent eight years as Marketing Manager at Foodco Group, one of Australia’s largest franchisors.

Sharne’s experience spans brand strategy, marketing planning and activation, budget management, media buying, guest speaking and events management. She’s almost unnaturally organised and formerly represented NSW as a professional race walker.

Nige Patient

CO FOUNDER | GENERAL MANAGER

Family man. Branding man.

Nige co-founded Head Mark in February 2006. He cut his teeth in brand research as a consultant for a research-based marketing consultancy in Auckland, New Zealand working with clients such as BP, Maersk Line, Halls Refrigerated Transport, Muffin Break Bakery Cafés, Jamaica Blue Cafés, B&D – Doors & Openers, Cheapskates and Chant Productions. After moving to Australia, Nige worked as the National Marketing Manager for Just Cuts franchising, where he oversaw the brand strategy, planning and activation of national and local marketing activities. Nige has a remarkable ability to understand a brand’s core sense of purpose, as well as DJ Spotify playlists.

Sarah Sambell

Digital Marketing & Data Analyst

Sweet dreams are made of cheese.

Sarah joined headmark in 2011, after completing a degree in journalism at Boston University where she sharpened her passion for creative writing into some serious skills. As Group Account Manager, Sarah incorporates top line strategy to manage the day-to-day activities of our key client accounts and overlooks all major client briefs. She also uses her copywriting skills to help bring brand stories to life. Sarah applies herself to all client work with a determination to get the best results and an ability to truly understand their objectives. Her favourite topic of discussion is almost always food, particularly fromage-focused.

Laura Mylius

Creative director

Thinks big about design. Relishes the small details.

Laura started at headmark in 2013, after 10 years’ experience working as a Creative Designer in both the United Kingdom and Australia. With an extensive background designing for print and digital, Laura has worked on some of the world’s leading companies including Aon, Cisco, Epson Europe and Manchester United FC. Laura thrives on beautiful, creative and well-thought-out design and loves to take on any challenge in order to solve a design brief in new aesthetic ways without losing sight of the client’s main objectives and targets. Her love of beautiful design extends to nature and she takes inspiration from travel and the outdoors.

Waiton Fong

Lead motion & digital creative

Chief storyteller and collector of quirks

In the world of print and digital design, Waiton has designed projects for Clemenger BBDO (NZ), Saatchi & Saatchi (NZ), Y&R (NZ), MTV Networks (US) and Lindt Global. Projects vary from storyboards to POS display, CD covers and billboards. Waiton is a talented and creative designer with a clean and structured approach to work. His skill set also extends to animation and front-end development. Waiton has an eye for detail, loves street art, digital illustration and character work. He has a passion for open-toed shoes and the smell of rain on burning tarmac. Which don’t always go together.

Chloe Bradley

Account Manager

Be bold or italic – never regular.

Chloe has been with headmark since her arrival to Australia in 2015 where she has helped to both assist with and manage major campaigns and projects. With a creative eye and background in copywriting, Chloe has developed her skills to extend across campaign design and delivery, website building, social media management, blog writing for SEO, event activation amongst much more. Previous accolades include publications on Yahoo!, the Financial Express and the Business Standard as well as the role of Head Costume Designer for Equus at the Forum Studio Theatre in Chester, UK where she completed her degree in English Literature. Adopting her latest hobby of running, most recently completing a half marathon, Chloe is as determined to set and achieve goals in her work as she is in her personal life.

Ania Adamczyk

PPC & digital advertising specialist

An open mind knows no boundaries

Ania has an in-depth knowledge of social media and online advertising (search and display network). Having worked with some of the world’s leading companies, including Ikea and Fiat, Ania also holds certifications for both Google Adwords and Google Analytics. Ania was a Paid Search Specialist and Account Manager for Performance Media – a multi-award winning Polish SEM agency – before starting work as a freelancer on the Polish and Australian markets. During this time she also worked as a contractor for ACMN, a Sydney based advertising agency where she promoted musicals including “Anything goes”, “Lord of the dance”, “The sound of music” and “Cats”. Ania loves puzzles – anything that presents a challenge.

Mandy Waqanivalu

Designer

Prior to joining the team at headmark in 2016, Mandy developed her strong branding skills working in-house for iconic Australian retail companies Bloch International and R.M.Williams for 9 years combined. These roles involved staying true to the brands’ heritage – creating sophisticated material that earned them premium recognition in their respective markets. Mandy has a passion for lettering and typography, solving problems, and picking up new skills.

David Moussa

David has been producing media in a variety of formats for over 20 years, and has managed to stay connected with the dynamically evolving world of digital media. He specialises in providing digital content (TV, Radio and Web) for a wide range of clients across Australia.

Matt Werth

Web Developer

An artistic eye for code.

Matt collaborates with headmark on building clever websites with beautiful UX. He’s an advanced web developer with over six years of experience building websites and apps for small to large businesses, across a wide variety of industries. An expert coder, he also creates bespoke solutions such as ecommerce sites, ordering systems and is an SEM and SEO pro. IRL, Matt loves throwing around paints and creating more tactile works of art.

Anh Nguyen

Bookkeeper

Crunching the numbers in style.

Anh commenced her career in the chartered accounting industry working with Crowe Horwath across business accounting and audit, and subsequently moved into working as a consultant to allow her to work closer with business owners and allow her to provide more hands on advice to clients. Anh has worked across a variety of industries including but not limited to marketing, advertising, hospitality, child & disability care, IT, recruitment and fashion.  Anh enjoys working closely with business owners on supporting them in growing their businesses.

Skye Rytenskild

Skye joined headmark in 2016 after most recently working in London as Head of Marketing for the technology portfolio of an LSE100 events business. She has a degree in English and Politics and diverse experience in communications-focused roles, including project management, marketing strategy, social media and digital engagement. She also previously led the marketing for the Decor + Design Show in Melbourne, Australia’s largest interiors trade event. Skye has gravitated towards her first love of content and now produces creative copy for headmark across web and print, including video, blogs, social media and campaign taglines. Skye loves words, particularly when they mean something.

Sarah has been working with headmark since 2013 and has assisted in the transformation of concept to content creation for countless clients. She graduated from The International Film School Sydney in 2012 where she honed her Directing, Producing, Cinematography and Editing skills after two years of full time study. Sarah is passionate about visual content and highlighting brands and events in an entertaining and educational way.

Rachel Brunker

Rachel joined headmark in 2017, with a wonderfully diverse mix of design experience under her belt, both in-house and in-studio. A lover of minimalist and contemporary design, Rachel has designed for the likes of Monkey Shoulder, Suntory Whiskey, WKD, William Grant and Sons, Lonsdale London and Heidi Klum Intimates. Rachel loves seeing a project evolve from concept to a tangible piece of art that is a tactile brand experience. A huge animal lover, Rachel tackles every new project with a fresh, positive attitude – always evident in her work.
